Industry Specific Testing
On The Ball Personnel has a comprehensive and sophisticated testing system that allows us to test candidates on industry specific skills.
Call Centre/Collections – Tests candidate’s ability to respond to call centre and collections situations. The system gives the candidates a variety of different calls to tackle including difficult and aggressive callers as well as calls that require them to show their ability to navigate through in-house computer systems. The results can be formatted to let you know exactly where the candidate has strength and where weaknesses are. We advise our clients to test one of their top performing call centre operators on the system to set a benchmark for potential candidates.
Computer Skills – Tests candidate’s skills on Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Access, or Internet Explorer. The results can be formatted to let you know exactly where the candidate has advanced, intermediate and basic skills.
Comprehension – Tests candidate’s skills in English Comprehension and Reading Comprehension. The results can also be formatted.
General Clerical – Tests candidate’s skills in Audio Transcription, Data Entry, Typing, Shorthand, Business Letter Composition and Editing, and General Clerical Grammar and Spelling.
On The Ball Personnel can choose the appropriate tests for you, or you can make your selection from a detailed list. We provide testing facilities in our offices, or can enable you to run certain tests in your offices*.
*Certain company firewalls make this unachievable – each case will be assessed individually.
