Terms of Business
Permanent Fees:
The following is information on the calculation of permanent fees.
On The Ball Personnel charge a percentage of the permanent placement package (base salary + superannuation), to be agreed with the client.
Permanent fees are payable within 14 days of invoice to invoke the three month replacement guarantee (see below). No replacement guarantee exists for temp to perm placements once they have been a temp for more than three months.
Replacement Guarantee:
On The Ball Personnel guarantees permanently placed employees for three months from the commencement of employment. This means that if the client is not satisfied with the standard of the original placement, On The Ball Personnel will replace the candidate free of charge, provided the following requirements have been met:
- All fees, charges and expenses (i.e for display advertising) in respect of the relevant placement have been paid in full within 14 days
- The replacement order is given exclusively to On The Ball Personnel
- The original job description does not alter
On The Ball Personnel will not supply a replacement or refund fees in the following circumstances:
- If the Candidate's employment ceases as a result of redundancy or company closure
- If the original job description has been significantly altered
- If a replacement candidate is terminated
For Temp to Perm Placements we charge:
100% for candidates who have been with the client for 0 - 3 months
75% for candidates who have been with the client for 3 - 6 months
50% for candidates who have been with the client for 6 - 9 months
25% for candidates who have been with the client for 9 - 12 months
After 12 months, the temporary can be made permanent without a fee being incurred.
GST
All fees payable will be subject to GST after calculation.
TEMPORARY PLACEMENTS
Temporary Fees and Placement
On The Ball Personnel will supply temporary staff to its clients in accordance with verbal or written job specifications supplied, within their required time frames.
Minimum Booking Fees
A minimum three hour booking fee will be charged for temporaries. Temporaries will be supplied for the time period specified by the client and can be extended as the need arises. If a temporary is engaged for less than three hours, the minimum three hour booking fee will apply and the temporary will be paid the three hour minimum.
Temporary Fees
On The Ball Personnel may change the billing hourly rate at any time if there is an increase in the relevant state award. The Fee Schedule may be obtained by contacting our office.
Invoices are produced weekly based on the hours of work for each temporary and are evidenced by an authorised timesheet. The client is only charged for hours worked.
Invoices are to be paid within fourteen days.
Termination of Temporaries
Temporaries can be terminated at a predetermined time, arranged by On The Ball Personnel and its client. Temporaries can be terminated by giving verbal notice to On The Ball Personnel.
GST
All fees payable will be subject to GST after calculation.
Non-Disclosure Agreements
All On The Ball Personnel temporaries sign non-disclosure agreements before being sent to the client, requiring them to keep confidential any information that they acquire during their assignment. On The Ball Personnel temporaries agree to sign a non-disclosure agreement with its client as required. Upon completion/termination of the temporary assignment, the temporary will return all intellectual property of its client to which he/she has access during the assignment (time of employment) including all documents, materials, processes and data whether in physical, electronic, computerised or any other form.
ADVERTISING
Advertising:
General advertising for temporary and permanent staff is at the expense of On The Ball Personnel. However, display advertising will be at the expense of the client, should the need arise. The client will be charged at the rate set by the advertiser, no additional charge will be added by On The Ball Personnel for the creation of the advertisement.
