Red Balloon Ambassadors for January 2012!

Posted 21/02/12

Congratulations to our three wonderful Red Balloon Ambassadors for January. Each Candidate received outstanding feedback and are well deserving winners of the award. The candidates each received a $100 voucher towards any Red Balloon Experience of their choice.

Stay tuned for February's winners - it's just around the corner!

David Ward with his Team Leader Evelyn Busuttil and Ben Coppin;

David is a backpacker who recently arrived in Australia with no corporate office experience. He started off working in the mail room at one of our clients in the financial sector and quickly established himself as a popular member of the team, both with his colleagues and his peers. According to his Team Leader - David has taken on every challenge thrown at him with a positive attitude, impressing everybody with his capacity to work hard and all the while with a smile on his face. Nothing is ever too much trouble for David and this is the reason he is one of this months Red Balloon Winners! Keep on doing what you’re doing Dave – with this kind of rap, the world is your Oyster!!

Sam Buultjens with Ben Coppin;

Sam has been working in a customer service capacity at one of our major clients since May 2011. He was nominated for this award by his Team Leader for his fantastic efforts in the Quality of his customer service calls. Not only was he recognised internally for his efforts (scoring himself a T.W Steel Watch in the process), he was also only one of two people across the company to score 100% in EVERY customer quality call which was evaluated over a 3 month period. This truly is an outstanding effort from a top guy and fully deserving his place in the first Red Balloon ‘Hall of Fame’ - Well done Big Sam!

Salwa Khan;

Salwa has been one of our longest serving Temps, commencing work through On The Ball Personnel way back in July 2010. Originally taken on as a member of our our client’s Sales team, Salwa’s goal was always to move into a QA position and after much perseverance and hard work, was promoted in October 2011 to the position of Quality Assurance Representative – Salwa has always been a positive and honest member of our Temporary Team and is an example of how hard work really does pay off!

Congratulations Salwa, keep up the good work and we hope you enjoy your Red Balloon experience!

On The Ball Personnel Community

2012 sees the launch of our "On The Ball Community" concept. We hope that this combination provides you with an invaluable resource on all things recruitment.

The second initiative focuses on a brand new “rewards and recognition” programme for our much valued and dedicated team of Temporary Staff:

The Red Balloon Experience

January 2012 sees the introduction of our Red Balloon Ambassadors and also the On The Ball Personnel “Red Balloon Hall of Fame”. Sun, Sea and Surf at our Annual Staff Retreat!

Posted 13/12/11

Although rain was forecast for our recent 3 day staff retreat in Noosa it was beautiful and sunny all the way! (Envious??? Ok, maybe a little!).

From our company "Think Tank" to the hilarious surfing lessons and our corporate retreat dinner - a great time was had by all! Noosa proved to be a beautiful, rewarding venue that allowed some inspiring initiatives to be born.

Amongst the inspiration, there was much laughter - the majority of was directed towards ourselves during the group surfing lesson! Following direction, co-ordination and focus proved to be a difficult combination for all of us, however after many thrills and spills Jenny Mountain took out the Winners title. Jenny even managed a little John Travolta-style dance whilst balancing on her board - proving that with a combination of practice and endeavour, anything is possible!

A number of fresh new initiatives were implemented as a direct result of our conference, which we look forward to launching during the early stages of 2012.

We look forward to keeping you all posted - Watch this space!

Annual Conference!

We will embark on a 3 day Conference where we will look at the year that's been and set goals for 2012. Plus we will have loads of fun in the downtime! So pack your swimmers Team - Noosa here we come!
