What type of work do you recruit for?
On The Ball Personnel are responsible for recruiting for a multitude of positions in a variety of industries.
We specialise primarily in Contact Centre positions and Office Support Roles, recruiting for Temporary, Contract and Permanent positions. See what roles we have currently available here.
If you are currently working as a temporary staff member through On The Ball Personnel Australasia, you will be aware that your Payment is processed on a Tuesday, and available to access in your account every Wednesday. This can differ but only very occasionally (i.e. Public Holidays etc). If you have any queries regarding your pay, you should call your consultant on 03 9510 2606 immediately. If your bank account information changes at any stage, you must let us know asap!
Do I pay any fees?
No. On The Ball Provides candidates with a completely Free Of Charge service in 100% of instances.
Can I call in for an interview?
We prefer to conduct pre-arranged interviews as we like to prepare each candidate prior to interview as to what we require from you, before you arrive on site. Our entire interview process can take approximately an hour, and therefore we want to ensure we are as prepared for you as you are for us!
I have applied for a specific vacancy on your website, what happens now?
We will be in touch. Dependent on the urgency of the position it could be immediately, it could be within a few days. Due to the volume of applications, it is not always possible for us to speak directly with each applicant, however we do endeavour to reply to all applications, either by telephone or via email.
What information I need to bring to an interview?
This will be outlined to your during the telephone conversation you have with the consultant that books your in. In all instances, we require Photo ID and Contact Information for Referees. You may be required to bring your Tax File Number, Bank Details and Superannuation Fund information, dependent on the type of employment you are looking for.
How long will my registration interview last?
We aim to keep the registration/interview process to approximately 60 minutes. The process itself with involve you completing relevant paperwork, a Computer Test (differs according to position applied for) and a One-on-One interview with an On The Ball Personnel Australasia Consultant. If you are coming by car, there is Metered Parking located nearby - It would be worthwhile paying for 90 minutes (to ensure you don’t get a ticket should the interview run over!)
What happens once I have registered/interviewed?
This is something that will be discussed with you during the interview process. We will keep you updated on your application/registration, and we would urge you to maintain contact with your Consultant, to ensure that all parties are kept fully up-to-speed with your job search.
What happens once I secure a position with OTBP?
You will be required to confirm acceptance of the job offer via email. If you are employed as a Temporary staff member, the full details of your assignment will be sent to you via email, which will outline all the information you require. You will be sent any additional information via post, which you will need to complete and return at your earliest convenience.
If you are placed in a permanent role, the procedure will be relatively similar, however your financial information will need to be provided to the Company you will be working for. They may require additional information (Passport, Contract, Police Checks) which will be explained to you during the application process.
When do I need to submit my Timesheet and how do I do it?
You will be required to submit your timesheet by 10.00am every Monday morning to ensure prompt payment! You will need to complete an online timesheet, forward the timesheet to your immediate supervisor who will approve the hours worked and forward it to On The Ball Personnel Australasia to process payment. Payroll is conducted every Tuesday with funds available to you every Wednesday (bank holidays permitting)
